The Rescheduling of Speakers + Moderators & Panelists

Subject: Important Update: MSI Summit Rescheduled to January 2025

Dear Speaker/Moderator/Panelist,

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to reach out with an important update regarding your participation in the upcoming Minority Serving Institutions (MSI) Summit.

The MSI Summit® Operations Team has made the strategic decision to reschedule the Summit, originally planned for Fall 2024, to January 28–30, 2025. The event will still take place at the Medical Forum and Sheraton Hotel in Birmingham, Alabama, during the same timeframe as our successful inaugural Summit earlier this year.

This decision was made with the utmost consideration, as we are committed to ensuring that the MSI Summit delivers the maximum impact it was designed to achieve. We believe that this new timing will better serve our goals and enable us to navigate the shifts in Federal partnerships due to the upcoming Presidential election.

As a valued speaker/moderator, your role is integral to the success of the Summit. Your expertise and insights are crucial to the meaningful dialogue and actionable outcomes that we aim to foster. We are excited about the enhanced opportunities this new date will provide for deeper engagement and broader impact.

As we continue to plan for our 2025 convening, we will outline a roadmap that underscores the importance of our theme, “Strategy. Policy. Impact.” Your contributions will play a key role in making the MSI Summit 2025 an even more dynamic and influential event.

Further details regarding the updated agenda, your session, and logistics will be provided by the end of this month (September). In the meantime, if you have any questions or require additional information, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Thank you for your commitment and flexibility. We look forward to working with you to make the MSI Summit 2025 a landmark event.

Warm regards,
MSI Summit® Operations Team
